What is VocadO?
An app to decide where to eat in Barcelona with recommendations from people you trust, the plan you have in mind and your saved places.
-
How much does it cost?
Nothing. VocadO is free and has no ads.
-
Where does it work?
In Barcelona, for now. We want to do one city really well before moving to others.
-
When can I use it?
We’re opening gradually. Join the list and we’ll send you an invitation as soon as there are places.
-
Can I bring my places from Google Maps?
Yes. In Saved, “Import from Google Maps” brings your saved lists and starred places over, with your permission on Google’s screen. If you give access once, we revoke it when it’s done; if you give it for a while (for example, 30 days), you can “Sync” until it ends or you disconnect. The privacy policy explains how.
-
How are restaurants chosen?
With editorial judgement and what the community recommends. No restaurant pays to appear or to come first.
-
Who sees what I post?
You choose: each experience can be public or just for your followers. You can delete it at any time.
-
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. It’s deleted straight away. Support has the details.
-
I have a restaurant. How do I appear or correct my details?
Write to us from the For restaurants page. We read every message.
